Online · Every Other Thursday · Free To Join
The West Valley Business Exchange Book Club brings business owners, professionals, and curious people together to explore useful ideas and learn from one another. Every other Thursday, we meet online to discuss chapters from business and personal development books, share our perspectives, and consider how those ideas might apply in our businesses and everyday lives. You are welcome to join at any point, even if you have not read the current book or completed the assigned chapters. Come ready to listen, contribute, ask questions, and connect with people who are interested in growing alongside you.
Next Meeting · August 27, 2026
Our next book club discussion will explore The 15 Commitments of Conscious Leadership, a practical guide to becoming more self-aware, taking greater responsibility, and responding to challenges with intention. Together, we will break down the book’s ideas and discuss how they can support better decisions, stronger communication, healthier working relationships, and more effective leadership in business and everyday life. You are welcome to join at any point, even if you have not started the book or read every chapter.
Choose A Conversation
The next discussion is August 27, 2026, and the group continues online every other Thursday. Join the current conversation at any session.
What to Expect
Each meeting is designed to feel more like a thoughtful conversation than a formal presentation. We work through ideas from the current book, share different perspectives, and talk about how those lessons could apply in business, leadership, relationships, and everyday life. There is no pressure to have the right answer or speak before you are comfortable. You can listen, ask questions, share an experience, or simply learn from the conversation.
Read at your own pace. A useful passage, an open question, or a willingness to listen is enough to join the discussion.
Meet online every other Thursday to compare perspectives and connect the reading to situations happening at work and in life.
Leave with practical ideas you can consider in your leadership, communication, client relationships, and everyday decisions.

From the WVBE Community
"This is a great group. I enjoy that it is not all networking but also incorporates business strategy, philosophy, and tactics. If you have a small business and are looking to connect to other local business people and exchange ideas, this is the group for you."
"WVBE has been an excellent organization for me to expand my business through networking. There's also plenty of opportunities to improve my presentation skills as I have an opportunity to do so once every quarter or so. The intimate setting allows for getting to know the other members on a deeper level. I'm proud to be a part of the group!"
