A Free Community For Local Professionals

Business Books. Local Connections.

WVBE brings West Valley professionals together through a shared book and open discussion. The free online book club gives business owners and local professionals a regular place to compare experiences, examine leadership decisions, and learn how others approach similar work. There are no membership dues, and new participants can join at any point in the current book.

The 15 Commitments of Conscious Leadership

Join us online every other Thursday to discuss practical approaches to leadership, responsibility, and workplace relationships. Each session draws from the current reading and the real situations participants bring from their businesses and teams. Reading every page is optional. A useful passage, an open question, or a recent experience is enough to take part.

Getting Started

Join the Book Club

Request the meeting details, read at your own pace, and join the online discussion every other Thursday. Each session focuses on a portion of the current book and how its ideas relate to business ownership, team leadership, client work, and daily decisions. Participants can listen, ask questions, or share an example from their own experience.

Share your contact information and we will send the online meeting details, current reading schedule, and updates about upcoming sessions. Participation is free and does not require an application.

Ways To Participate

Book Club and Outings

The online book club meets every other Thursday and provides the steady rhythm for WVBE. Local outings take place about once a month at businesses and activity venues around the West Valley. Guests can start with either option, attend when their schedule allows, and get to know the group without paying ongoing dues.

From the Community

"This is a great group. I enjoy that it is not all networking but also incorporates business strategy, philosophy, and tactics. If you have a small business and are looking to connect to other local business people and exchange ideas, this is the group for you."

"WVBE has been an excellent organization for me to expand my business through networking. There's also plenty of opportunities to improve my presentation skills as I have an opportunity to do so once every quarter or so. The intimate setting allows for getting to know the other members on a deeper level. I'm proud to be a part of the group!"
